Did you know that Frank Basile for Hair is a family business?

When Frank was 20 and working in the original barber shop at the Floreat Forum, he met Rose who was 16 at the time working as a hairdressing apprentice at Sam Rafici in the Forum.

Over the years, Frank and Rose created their Frank Basile For Hair empire through out Perth. Frank continued barbering along side his nephew Frank Junior and friend Lorenzo while Rose plays an important role as salon coordinator for all our salons.

Frank and Rose's three children Matt, Tony & Sophie also decided to follow in their parents foot steps and become hairstylists.

Matt has been hairdressing for 17+ years. Matt is our Head manager at our Floreat salon and is very experienced in all aspects of hair and specialises in perms and I-Tip Beaded extensions. He provides a friendly and fun environment in our Floreat salon and helps lead the team in the right direction.

Tony has been hairdressing 16+ years. Tony is experienced in all aspects of hair though he specialises in short hair cuts, curly hair and chemical straightening. Tony works at our Floreat salon, though every Wednesday he works with our Kingsley team. Tony provides a fun and very chatty environment where ever he goes.

Sophie has been hairdressing for 10+ years. Sophie is experienced in all aspects of hair though she specialises in blondes, balayage, bridal hair and weft extensions. Sophie works at our Floreat salon and loves to help teach our apprentices in salon and at apprentice training nights and helps provide a positive environment.

Matts daughter Summer has been helping out in salon since she was 8 years old during school holidays and the occasional Saturday. She can't wait to be old enough until she can start her hairdressing apprenticeship and work along side her family.
